We use “Elmer’s Glue Sticks” for our kid’s school posters and science fair displays, as well as in our small shop to make temporary signs.
I like that it is purple when it is applied because it makes it easy to see where the glue has been applied and it does dry colorless so it doesn’t show through light color paper. This is not very strong glue and it is easy to remove items that have been attached using it, so we take a stick with us if we have to transport the poster or display board to touch-up anything that might have come loose.
Overall, a good glue stick for paper and small craft projects – Recommended!

I always have my students bring glue sticks to school. Most of them bring these because they are about a dollar a dozen from the big box store. It’s a good thing they’re cheap because a dozen is how many I request on their supply list. There is hardly any glue in these things! They used to contain a lot of product, but just like everything else, the company has cut back. As far as the glue goes, it works well for student projects and it is easy enough for my kindergarteners to handle. It is a little bit tricky to wash off if it gets dry, but it washes easily otherwise.

bought the large pack for school supplies. I love that it goes on purple so you can see what it’s doing. I don’t find it too wet. I like having more than one in the house, because they always find some obscure drawer to hide hide in, this way there is always one available. Will buy again.
