I purchased this journal for a friend who is in prison. I was directed to this company through journals at Amazon when I could not find what I was looking for. My friend can only have soft-sided or paperback books. I searched carefully for a journal that fit this description. Evidently “soft-side” with this company does not mean the same thing as it does at Amazon. This experience reaffirmed what I already knew–use Amazon and Amazon alone. They are a perfect company if there ever was one. I am now the proud owner of a gray, fuzzy, soft-sided journal.
