Home school?
Question by Confusion B: Home school?
How does some become home schooled? What does it take to be home schooled? I know that if your home schools you can take online classes and want to be home schooled until the end of the second semester. Then go back into a public high school.
I think im having to many complications in my school.
So what do you need to be home schools, how exactly does it work?

i have two grandaughters that do home schooling on the internet> they refused to go to thier regular schools. one is in
middle school and the other is in high school. they had to go with thier mother to talk to the right person at thier schools. and from there they was sent to another place that sit them up for home schooling>. they both were shy and not very out going in school and they said they just didnt get alolong with thier teachers etc, couldnt do thier school work in school because they wee shy and always thought hat everone was watching them>. they really like the home schooling on the internet and are doing great with it so talk to your parents about it,

Talk to your parents, or family about it….
There’s many online homeschooling programs….
Such as….

Connections Academy was really easy, I regret switching from it….
But if you want some advice?
Don’t do it….It’s easier, but it really sucks, you lose friends, you lose alot of things….
But it just depends on you though….I personally hate it, I think nobody should be homeschooled….

Each state has different laws about homeschooling. You need to start with finding out your state’s laws.
Since you are planning to go back to school, you need to check with your school to see if your homeschool credits will be accepted. Otherwise you may end up having to repeat this semester.
I am all in favor of homeschooling, but I think you may need to directly confront whatever problems you are having in school. I don’t think homeschooling will be a good short term solution for you and may even cause you problems with credits, etc.

You have to comply with local laws. If your area offers accredited free on line you can take that, but do understand if you don’t follow through it goes on your record and can affect your next semester.
Homeschooling only works for disciplined self starters who manage their time well.

Each state has different laws about homeschooling. Go to http://www.hslda.org (Home School Legal Defense Assoc.) for information about this.
Also, find a homeschool support group in your area (www.hslda.org/orgs/default.asp), and talk with your parents and other homeschoolers. There are many options available to homeschoolers today.

P.S. We are active in a local homeschool group. Some kids hate it, especially for high school, but we have found that the vast majority prefer homeschooling to public or parochial schools. In addition, homeschoolers do have friends, both within and outside of homeschooling. The key is to be involved in activities where you meet other people.
