A good deal for $17.00 bucks! A NEW high security, hardened steel padlock by Masterlock, this lock cost $30 to $35.00 + S&H at other online lock stores.The smaller version(same type 2 inch wide)cost $28.00 at my Home Depot I use my lock and a heavy chain to secure my spare tire in the back of my pick-up truck. A satisfied customer here!!

I should have saved the packaging to return this monster. The shaft is way too thick to fit through the lock, and it’s gigantic and heavy. Great product for locking up something industrial, but not at all what I needed.

This padlock certainly looks and feels intimidating, but just go to youtube and you will find every type of MasterLock being picked quickly. It seems like locks such as this one, labeled “High Security”, require a lockpicking kit, at least.
You have to spend a lot more money to get a more pick resistant lock, so for the price, it seems OK. I wish I could afford to buy something that can’t be bypassed in 20 seconds or less.

Just the sight of this lock should deter any funny business. One of MasterLock’s more robust efforts. Very nice. A lock you’ll be proud of.
Best suited for motorcycles. Bring your own chain. Lugging a chain around not an option? Then check out MasterLock’s 79DPF cable. Cheaper than Kryptonite, Superman, but just as formidable. Because in the end, if they really want your stuff they’re going to get it. If I’m not mistaken, a Bic pen was all that was needed a couple years ago. Good going there, Krypt. Who’da thunk that one up?
