I would figure anyone with knowledge of cards and mathematics would know that you would always end up with even piles. I figured something was up. I guess it works best on people with a few drinks in their system already.

a great old trick, for a little twist ask the marks what football team plays in Red or Balck – then the patter can then be all about goals and ‘hitting the bar’.
