Connections is a good program but like any school it is what you make of it. You can advance faster than the standard academic program, take more advanced courses and there are social interaction but on the web with classmates and even field trips. My son did it for two years, home schooled, did a year in private school and is now going to use connections academy for this high school year.
If you family agrees I think it can be a positive experience, but as I said, like any unique school setting be it home school, virtual, or even as an exchange student what you gain is primarily dependent upon you and your personality and your willingness to reach out and obtain
Best wishes for success on your upcoming year’s education. You sound thoughtful and engaged and that is the type of student who will do well in any setting!.

I don’t like this homeschooling. The teachers were mean.I was in this.. >.> So went back to school for one year, then was homeschooled again but by a real life teacher, gives me my homework, I go home, do it, a week later, give it back to him, it’s easy.
