This is a special sacred song that came to me circa 1972. We were all on the beach celebrating candlemas, but had no songs yet to sing. The Goddess Movement was only a year old, and we had no culture for it yet. I had the first two lines, “We all come from the Goddess, and to her we shall return, ” and i waited for more lines. Looked down as the rain was forming little rivers, and flowed back to the ocean.
‘Like a drop of rain, flowing to the Ocean”. This song was loved from then on.

Yes, I know, but i believe in a period of rest, before the return. I also believe when youre in the period of rest, you’ll be with the godess in person (hard to explain). and still, I’ll have to leave my friends and family.

@Kcatcutie To NEone whos listening. I just had a revelation of feminine deity. I didnt know the pagan way until I met my ex girlfriend. Im not dianic but im a feminist somewhat. Christians just don’t know. Thats why i dont tell them because they may be hurt. So i just try not to let them get arrogant 2wards me. Or my brothers and especially my sisters. What I mean is that before the exicution of the Pagans, the Pagans and the Christains used to live to together and work together, however as the christains converted more people they tried to whipe out the image of the goddess and replace her with their ‘virgin Mary’. So they do believe in her, they just dont know it. if that makes sense. ive been a witch for about six years, I know a thing or two, trust me.

Well of course most of you never new of the goddess, the chirstains dont want you to know about her to try to keep their dog matic faith in tact. I feel the same way. When I was Christian, no one EVER talked about a female deity. I too, felt neglected as a woman, and when I found Wicca, everything fell in to place. =)

Oh, this was directed towards me. lol Just as a heads-up when you talk to someone on youtube you have to press the “reply” button. ^_^ Also, what do you mean by, “I felt cheated?” Are there any “gods” or “goddesses” in paganism? Just like there are in Hindusim, Catholism(Mother Mary), ect. ect.

Before, I did not know either. I had no idea people used to honor the goddess before a Christian god. Then I found out and I went through a bit of an anger stage. Why wasn’t I taught about the goddess? I felt cheated. Now nothing makes more sense to me than the concept of a goddess next to a god. I feel that paganism is the right path for me.
