‘Wimpy Kid’ rules weekend with .4M opening
A wimpy kid has delivered a knock-out punch to a band of warrior vixens at the weekend box office. The family sequel “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” debuted as the No. 1 movie with .4 million, according to studio estimates Sunday.

LEAP study aid available for students
With statewide testing a little less than a month away, Bogalusa City School District Superintendent Ruth Horne wants to make sure teachers, parents and students are aware of available study resources and that everyone is working together to make sure students perform well when state testing occurs during the two phases on March 22 and April 11-15.
